==== SEE: Original TEXT description of this Wavestation Patch Bank :BELOW ==== Filename: WS-NEW02.ZIP ORIGINAL filename: WS-NEW01.ZIP Bank address: RAM 2 Channel: Either 1 or 8. Format: Cakewalk (MIDI SYSEX) SYX The performances, patches and wavesequences in this patch bank are not altered from their original form with the exception of the bank they address (RAM 2 instead of CARD) and they may be addressing channel 8 (if it does and you prefer another channel, then load it using channel 8 on your wavestation, change the channel, the resave the bank). I did not author these patches, can tell you nothing about them (except that they were crafted very well -- it's worth the download) and I can not give any permissions regarding this bank. I ONLY CHANGED THE ADDRESS SO WAVESTATION OWNERS WITHOUT CARDS COULD ACCESS THEM. NOTE: Since the author of these perfs haven't spoken up, I would like to take the opportunity to thank you here and now -- thanks, they really are pro-quality patches. Technical Note: I had to do two things to get this to work: 1) change the address in the SysEx headers at the bank field (from 3 to 2). This allowed me to load it finally into the Wavestation. However, many performances still referenced CARD patches. Since the patches were changed from CARD to RAM 2 as well, all I had to do was go through the performances and inspect each in the Edit page on the Wavestation (I don't currently have a convienient editor for Wavestation SysEx files). I don't remember seeing any 'original' references to RAM 2 patches. If their were, then they are probably not pointing the right patch. However, after browsing all perfs, I would venture a guess that this didn't happen. ======== Original TEXT description of this Wavestation Patch Bank ======== This zip file contains a new bank of Wavestation patches. These are not the factory patches, or minor variations of the factory patches, but a set of entirely new creations. I encourage all Wavestation/Wavestation-AD owners and users to share and distribute any patches that they develop for this powerful instrument. By learning from each others programming and sharing this way, we all benefit by having patches of much greater complexity and usefulness available than those shipped with the instrument ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Files: All files are binary sysex data captured via the MIDI SYSEX - SYSEX DATA TRANSMIT page.
